New PLANOLY Feature: Filters

Sound the alarms...Filters have finally arrived on PLANOLY! Filters are a great way to customize your visual content and ensure that it flows well together, despite your images having different lighting or varying in quality. You can easily create a consistent vibe on your Instagram grid by using Filters!At the moment, we have 18 different Filters to choose from - so many options to match your aesthetic! The best part is that you can batch-edit your images using the filters; it's easy and quick to edit all of your content at once (we'll go more in-depth on how to do that below!). As of now, Filters are only available for images and not videos. It's important to note that they're also only available through PLANOLY desktop. If you can avoid opening up another app to edit your photos, then your planning process can be much more efficient! Not to mention, you'll have more time to rest or get other tasks done.Read on for step-by-step instructions on how to access and use our new 'Filters' feature on PLANOLY desktop.

How to Use Filters on PLANOLY

1. Go to www.planoly.com, and sign in to access PLANOLY desktop.
2. Click on an image within your Grid Planner that you want to apply a filter to.
3. Click on the edit icon in the bottom left corner of your post, and you'll see your editing tools show up.
4. Click on the 'Filter' icon on the right side of the toolbar - it looks like a magic wand!
5. From there, you can select a filter.
6. Once you've chosen your filter, click Apply, and your post is now saved on your planning grid with the new filter! You can also click Cancel to get out of this feature.

*PLANOLY Tip: Use filters that compliment your brand's aesthetic, and try to stay within a cool or warm tone family to keep your content looking consistent!

How to Batch Edit with Filters on PLANOLY

1. Go to www.planoly.com, and sign in to access PLANOLY desktop.
2. Select the 'Filter' icon in the toolbar on the top of your planning grid.
3. A new modal will pop up with all of your unscheduled and scheduled images on the left, and filter options on the right.
4. When you hover over the image, you'll see a hollow circle appear in the top right corner of your image. Click on that to select your desired image to add a filter to.
5. Once you've selected all of your desired images that you want to batch edit, choose your filter, and it will be applied to all of the images you selected.
6. Click Apply and your filtered images will show on your planning grid!

By batch editing on PLANOLY, you'll take one extra step away from your planning strategy. If you have auto-posting set up, all you'll need to do is schedule your content, and it's good to go!
